Fryeburg Fair

Maine's largest agricultural fair will celebrate 175 seasons with an extra day of family fun that includes thrilling rides for all ages, fireworks (Sept. 27, Oct. 3), concerts including The Outlaws, over 3,000 animals, livestock events, mechanical pulls, exhibits, contests, vendors, a Specialty Foods Pavilion, beer tents, favorite fair food and more over the 9-day season that this year starts a day earlier, on Saturday.

Special events include the Firemen's Muster (9 am Sept. 28), Woodsmen's Field Day (9 am Sept. 29), Harness racing (Sept. 30 - Oct. 5) and Grand Parade (10 am Oct. 4).

Admission: $15, free for kids under 12, free on Tuesday for ages 65+. General parking is $5.

In recognition of the fair's 175th anniversary, unlimited ride wristbands on opening day (Sat., Sept. 27) will be only $17.50 -- or any rider can opt for ride tickets at $1.75 per ride.

Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36" & taller) are $32 on site ($30 cash) Monday - Thursday, $37 ($35 cash) Friday - Sunday, and online before Sept. 27 for $25 each or 4/$80. Ride tickets are also available on the midway and discounted pre-sale.

Fair hours: 7 am - 10 pm. Rides open daily at 10 am.
