Columbus County Agriculture Fair

The 41st annual fair features midway rides for all ages, Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean high-wire thrill show, demolition derbies, fireworks, live music, livestock and community exhibits, Flimsy the Clown, local entertainment, talent competitions, contests, favorite fair food and more.

Fair highlights include Livestock Show & Exhibit (6pm Tuesday); Dance Troupes (6pm, 7:30pm Wednesday); Children's Tractor Pull (6:45pm Thursday); Demolition Derbies (7pm Friday - Saturday); Fireworks (9pm Friday - Saturday); Jubilee (3pm Sunday); and live music by Blue Grass Breeze, Dustin Chapman & Ryleigh Madison, Blackwater Rhythm & Blues Band, Honey Don't Band, and Four Points North.

Fair admission is $8 ($4 on Thursday) and free for ages 5 & younger. On Carload Sunday, admission and unlimited rides are $40 per carload for all legally seated occupants.

Regular-price ride wristbands (for riders 36 inches and taller) are $20 ($16 on Thursday). Ride tickets are $1.50 each, $30/20 tickets or $60/50 tickets plus 1 free ride. (Rides take 2 or more tickets each.)

Fair hours: 3:30-11pm Tuesday, 5-11pm Wednesday - Thursday, 3-11pm Friday - Saturday, 1-9pm Sunday
