Family Day at Belgum Grove

Join Bur Oak Land Trust for a fun, FREE learning event from 1:00 to 3:00 for Family Day at Belgum Grove!
Activities will include raptors, interactive stream table, and other fun outdoor educational activates. Experience the sights and sounds of Dirty Face creek and the pond, learn about different prairie, trees, plants, and find answers to all of your outdoor questions. All youth in attendance take home a new shirt featuring local artwork. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Belgum Grove is 40 acres of former pasture crossed by Dirty Face Creek, with an apple orchard and a small wetland. It was donated by David and Kathy Belgum in 1998, to be used for education, research, and recreation.

Belgum Grove is located 4 miles west of Hills at 3261 500th Street SW(F62), Iowa City.
