2017 Seneca Lake Deck the Halls Party Weekend

Its time to start preparing for this year's Seneca Lake Deck the Halls Wine Weekend! I will need a $50 deposit per person as soon as possible so that we can purchase the event tickets before it sells out.

Last year, we hit about 24 wineries in 2 days and made it to the Christmas House and this year we will try to outdo that! As most of you know, you will receive a grapevine wreath and ornament from our starting winery along with a food/wine pairing. Then at each winery we get to, you receive an additional ornament and tastings! Lots and lots of fun! and laughs!

We will use the same transportation as last year, possibly staying at a different hotel, waiting to hear back from Holiday Inn Elmira, they have an in-house restaurant and bar so we wont have to travel anywhere for dinner or drinks. Price will be a little higher this year due to a raise in the transportation expense and the hotel may cost a little more-- I will send out the details as soon as hotel decision is finalized. Thinking approximately $250 a person, possibly a little less. If we do this right, it will be quick and painless--we can break it down into payments of $50 from July through November-which would completely take care of it. You know its going to be a great time, you can pay more or less if you want as long as its paid by November 15th but I need a $50 deposit to get the event tickets and confirm your spot.

I also wanted to add something new this year...Secret Santa. So after we have confirmed everyone who is going, everyone will find out who their secret person will be and we just ask everyone to spend about $10 on a little gift for that person. We can decide as a group if you want to do the Secret Santa on Saturday night or Sunday morning at a later time. I just thought it would be something nice to add on this year!

This trip is limited to 19 people per bus. We will see how many are confirmed going and if we have enough we will consider doing two buses this year! So invite your friends, the more the merrier.
