Oshkosh Docktoberfest 2017

The first annual Oshkosh Docktoberfest will take place at Dockside Tavern this fall on Friday, Sept. 22, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept. 23, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. The event will be an authentic oktoberfest with food, great German music, culture and gemütlichkeit by day and lively entertainment and bier hall by night.

Friday night will feature a fish fry and Copper Box band. Saturday, attendees can enjoy great music including Gary's Ridgeland Dutchmen, the Tuba Dan Band, the Polka Dots, Blaskapelle Milwaukee and The Presidents.

Also on Saturday, there will be the WI Cornhole Tourney (online pre-registration is required), 2K Bier Run, masskrugstemmen (stein holding), costume and frankfurter eating contests. So make sure to wear your dirndls and lederhosen!

The 2K Bier Run will start at 2 p.m. Participants will travel along Oshkosh’s Riverwalk for two laps making 3 beer stops at Dockside Tavern, becket's and Ground Round at River's Edge - Oshkosh, WI for a total of 1.25 miles (2K) and 6 beers. Participants will all receive a 2K Bier Run t-shirt and the winner will receive bragging rights. Pre-register for the race online for $20 or day of $25.

There is no cover charge to attend. Drinking wristbands are $5 each; one free 12 ounce domestic beer is included.

100% of proceeds from this event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Oshkosh.
