Iowa City Bike Library Farm Cycle
Farm Cycle is a full day of biking low traffic trails, paved, and gravel roads to enjoy farm tours, meet local farmers, and enjoy delicious food and craft beverages prepared by local chefs in support of the Iowa City Bike Library. The Bike Library's mission is to get more people on bicycles. Our vision is to empower residents to make biking a primary form of transportation in Johnson County.
Featured farms include the Johnson Co. Historic Poor Farm, Calyx Creek Lavender Farm, Blueyah Blueberry Farm, and Black Diamond Meats. Featured chefs include Wendy Zimmerman from Get Fresh Café, Brittni Leupold from New Pi Coop, Dan Knowles from Iowa Grown Chef, and Michael Brack from Big Grove Brewery. The ticket provides access to all farm stops on a 50 mile route. You are welcome to make the day suit your own adventure level with shorter route options and skipping some stops.
