What?
Oddmall is part art fair, part craft show, part comic con, part gaming festival, part cosplay extravaganza, part toy show, part antique show, part vintage fashion show, part geeksplosion, part music fest, part magic show, and part various undefinable othernesses. If it’s fun, artsy, geeky, crafty or odd, chances are it can be found at Oddmall. It’s the Emporium of the Weird.
Oddmall: Emporium of the Weird – HALLOWONDROUS returns to the fabulous SeaGate Centre in lovely Toledo, Ohio! Toledo’s SeaGate Centre is a fantastic venue with plenty of room for all our artsy-fartsy, crafty-wafty, geeky-freaky, activities. We’ll have an ENORMOUS vendor hall overflowing with artists, crafters, and purveyors of all things unique, odd, unusual, geeky, and wonderful. There will be cosplayers and a costume contest, trick and/or treating, live entertainment, open gaming, a Kid Cave with games and activities for the chillunz, a Halloween costume party. There will be panels and workshops, special guests, and a veritable overflowing cornucopia of surprises and super fun stuff.
And it’s all FREE to the public!!!!! That’s right, it’s all FREE to the public!!!
Oddmall is more than just an ordinary craft show. It’s a celebration of uniqueness, creativity, imagination, and wonder where artists, crafters, and like-minded sorts gather to offer their unusual creations for public consumption. It’s a forum for creative expression, a classroom for esoteric wisdom, a soapbox for wild ideas, a miraculous marketplace of the unconventional, a metaphorical Serengetian watering hole where the zebras and wildebeests of inspiration and artistry congregate amidst the snapping crocodiles and scorching sunbeams of originality and ingenuity. …umm yeah. Anyway, it’ll be fun. Trust me.
It’s not only artsy-fartsy and craftsy-waftsy, Oddmall is a Donkey Kong sized barrel of raw, burning geekiness! This amazing combobulation of toys, games, comics, books, and all things fun and geeky is a HUGE part of Oddmall. There will be special guests, superheroes, a costume contest, and all sorts of other snazzy jazz.

The Park Inn by Radisson is attached to the Convention Center. It is a reasonably priced luxury hotel and will be the site of the Oddmall Halloween Party on Saturday night.

If you need nerdy gifts or just something swell for yourself… Come browse Oddmall profusion of vendors and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals! Oddmall is a fantastic and totally free ($5 suggested donation) way to spend an afternoon with the family (or friends or enemies)!
Demos and Hands-on Activities
Many of Oddmall’s vendors and artists will be onhand to host demonstrations of their unique creations. Who knows, you might just learn something and have fun doing it.
