Rattlesnakes, thistle and America’s most unique clone of Sangiovese are all that thrive atop our Rattlesnake Hill vineyard. The clone, planted over 100 years ago by Edoardo Seghesio in America’s oldest surviving Sangiovese vineyard, produces small-berried, loosely formed clusters of intensely flavored fruit for our cult wine, Venom.

The release of the 2013 Venom is so highly anticipated we’re opening the family vault to offer a retrospective tasting of library vintages from the past decade. Join us at the winery for an evening exploring what makes this wine so highly coveted while enjoying seasonal bites prepared by Seghesio Executive Chef Peter Janiak.
