Andy Grammer has come a long way from a hustling street performer on Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade to multi-platinum recording artist.
With his 2011 self-titled debut album, Grammer became the first male pop star in a decade, since John Mayer in 2002, to reach the Top 10 at Adult Pop Radio on his first two singles, “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me,” certified platinum and gold respectively.
His 2014 sophomore album, titled Magazines or Novels, features the hit single “Back Home” and the three-time platinum single “Honey I’m Good.”
“Back Home” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Trending 140, and Top 20 on Adult Pop Radio. It was also featured in the trailer for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and had 10 million streams on Spotify. Meanwhile, “Honey I’m Good” reached over 90 million streams on Spotify, hit No. 1 on the iTunes Pop Chart and Adult Pop Radio, and was in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Grammer’s latest single, “Good to be Alive (Hallelujah)” has over 1,651,570 views on YouTube.
In just a few short years, Grammer has gone on to sell over 100,000 albums, play sold out venues nationwide, perform onstage with Taylor Swift, Train, and Colbie Caillat, and receive two BMI Pop Music Awards, among many other accomplishments.
