VCL STORY
It all started in 2006, smoking cigars on the patio of Peet’s Coffee - and years before I got the nickname "Cigar Dave." LOL. As I sat on the Peet's patio smoking a cigar, passersby would stop and say how much they enjoyed the smell of cigars. Soon, people began to sit and chat, and many even brought their own cigars. Pretty soon, we had about 40 friends (both smoker and non-) many of whom would meet at Peet’s to talk and smoke. Over time, our favorite time to meet turned out to be Sunday mornings, so we made that a tradition.
The VCL's “Cigar Sundays” soon became a staple in Valencia, to the point where we now have well over 250 CS friends, a varying 10-20 of whom meet up each Cigar Sunday - now at Route 66.
Cigar Sundays are FREE and open to *everyone - smokers and non-smokers, women and men, and good people from all backgrounds and beliefs. (*18 and over only unless accompanied by a parent.)
